Working hours when there are no extra murals: Monday Friday: 14h30 18h30 A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their daughter aged 10 years old

Working hours will be: 80 hours per month but core hours will be, Monday, Friday: 14h45 - 17h45, Tuesday, Thursday : 15h45 - 17h45, Wednesday: 17h00 - 20h00. Working hours when there are no extra murals: Monday Friday: 14h30 18h30

Weekend work: as needed based on advance request

Live in or Live out: The employer travels for work 4 nights per month. The employee will be required to sleep over and drop at school in the mornings when this happens (as overnight hours). The Employee will potentially be required to stay overnight when Employer travels and follow the set schedule prescribed by Employer. The hours stated below are part of working hours over above the core hours stated above. Overnight stay hours schedule will be as follows, subject to change where needed. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 06h00 - 08h00 and again from 17h45 - 20h45. Wednesday: 06h00 - 08h00 and again from 20h00 - 21h00, Friday: 06h00 - 08h00 and collect / drop off at 17h00.

Duties: Collect from school, extra murals, homework assistance, assisting with errands, general childcare assistance, candidate will be required to sleep over and drop at school in the mornings when the mother travels for work

Requirements: Preferably someone in arts or who is nurturing type and motherly but must be committed to the job and able to stay over when needed.

Start Date and contract term: ASAP start permanent contract

Salary: R8000 per month plus R2000 petrol per month.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
  • Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
  • Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
  • Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
  • Must have a clear criminal record
  • Must have a passion for children
  • Must have Matric
  • Must have a South African ID document.
