The Opportunity
Were looking for a Branch Cleaner to join our Mukuru family in Pretoria.
This role plays a vital part in keeping our workspace clean, safe, and pleasant for everyone. From ensuring spotless offices and kitchens to maintaining hygiene in restrooms, youll help create an environment where our people can do their best work and our customers feel at home.

What Youll Do
- Maintain a Clean and Hygienic Workspace
- Ensure all office areas, working spaces, and bathrooms are kept clean and tidy.
- Follow the rotational cleaning roster to maintain high standards throughout the day.
- Clean bathrooms three times a day, ensuring they are stocked with the necessary supplies.
- Check in with internal staff to see if additional cleaning is required and ensure satisfaction.
- Perform Daily Cleaning Tasks
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as scheduled.
- Empty dustbins and ensure waste are disposed of responsibly.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors for a polished, professional look.
- Dust furniture, walls, equipment, and other office fixtures regularly.
- Maintain Kitchen Cleanliness and Supplies
- Keep the kitchen area clean, tidy, and fully stocked at all times.
- Run the dishwasher three times per day and ensure cups, dishes, and utensils are clean.
- Refill tea, coffee, and sugar canisters when running low.
- Notify the Office Manager immediately when stock is running low.
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Follow health and safety regulations and proper use of cleaning materials.
- Use cleaning equipment responsibly to avoid damage to property and fixtures.
- Monitor office safety by checking electrical appliance use and identifying hazards.
- Attend team meetings and actively participate in performance and development sessions.
What Youll Bring
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning materials and methods.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
- Familiarity with office cleaning standards.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to take ownership of your tasks.
