Clerk: Treasury

Ackermans has an exciting opportunity for a Clerk: Treasury. The Clerk: Treasury will perform daily cash management and treasury functions for all local and foreign entities in line with all online commerce activities. You will be part of a structured Finance team.

We're a fully in-office team. This role is based at our Support Centre in Kuils River, Cape Town.

• EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Essential:

• 2 -3 years relevant finance administration experience, including strong reconciliation experience
• Good knowledge of financial administration and basic accounting principles (debits, credits, journals, reconciliations) and their application (finance systems)
• Online commerce, e.g. tracking payments, extracting settlement reports.
• Working with reconciliations
• Treasury and cashflow management
• Filing and administration

Preferred:

• Previous experience in working within the retail industry
• Experience in working on the SAP accounting system

• QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• Essential
• National Diploma in Accounting or similar
• Degree in Accounting or similar
• JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

KNOWLEDGE Required:

• Strong administration knowledge and ability
• Working knowledge of the SAP accounting system
• Good knowledge of financial administration and basic accounting principles (debits, credits, journals, reconciliations) and their application (finance systems)
• Knowledge of banking and financial institution processes
