We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) to support the CEO of two Ed-Tech companies. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely while also coming into the household to manage daily tasks and errands.
As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of both professional and personal life. The ideal candidate will be a skilled administrator who is comfortable multitasking, managing various household responsibilities, and easily coordinating multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Household Management:
- Manage errands, including grocery shopping and ensuring household supplies are always stocked.
- Coordinate with house staff and manage household maintenance tasks.
- Ensure the home is running smoothly when the family is absent.
- Assist with homeschooling once or twice a week, as needed, when the employer is working (not a daily responsibility).
- Administrative Support:
- Manage the CEOs calendar and schedule appointments.
- Handle email correspondence, ensuring timely responses to all inquiries.
- Process payments, track expenses, and ensure bank accounts are topped up (e.g., credit card payments).
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including tracking receipts and processing financial documents.
- General Support:
- Provide general assistance with household tasks as needed, from overseeing logistics to managing paperwork.
- Maintain high levels of organization in both personal and professional tasks.
- Take the initiative to keep the day running smoothly, anticipating needs before they arise.
- Location: Must live within 15 km of Claremont, Cape Town.
- Transport: Own car required, as errands and local tasks will need to be completed. Fuel will be fully compensated for any work-related driving.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar PA role, with a focus on household management and administrative tasks.
- Skills:
- Exceptional administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in everything you do.
- Comfortable with basic bookkeeping and financial management (tracking expenses, receipts, processing payments, etc.).
- Proficient in calendar management, email handling, and general office tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with a hybrid work environment that includes both in-person and remote work.
