Commercial Manager for Shipchandling (Procurement/Project Management)

Requirements
- 3-5 Years experience in ship chandling industry required
- Drivers licence & Own Vehicle
- Excellent communication skills and all round people person
- Dynamic, Energetic individual
- Relevant tertiary qualification required
- Additional Foreign Languages a plus, ie. French, Portuguese, Greek
- A vision to grow a career in a well established international group
- Carrying out market research
- Establishing and maintaining customer relationships
- Customer Visits (Quay, In-house/office, Travel)
- Monitoring competitor activities
- Promoting of the organization, products & services
- Help clients to solve their problems and find the best solution
- Assist clients to identify their needs
- Work with senior managers to formulate and implement sales plans
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
- Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
- Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
- Any other duty that is reasonable and relevant to this position
- Reporting on departmental activity to senior management
- Review and update existing SOPs to meet departmental requirements for efficient service delivery to clients.
- Assessing customer requirements and quoting price/terms
- Acquiring and arranging delivery of goods and following up with clients
- Process quotes, orders, deliveries for clients as required
