Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, with a strong focus on civil engineering infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrable experience in managing projects across various civil disciplines, such as roads (earthworks, paving, storm water), water infrastructure (pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, treatment works), bulk earthworks, and structural concrete works.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering medium to large-scale projects (e.g., R50M+) from inception through to handover.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Professional Registration (Pr.Eng / Pr.Tech.Eng with ECSA or Pr.CPM with SACPCMP) is highly advantageous and preferred.
- Valid Driver's License.
Project Management Acumen: Exceptional ability to plan, execute, monitor, and control complex civil engineering projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, materials science, and relevant industry standards (e.g., SANS, ASTM).
- Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse project teams, including site personnel, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Problem-Solving & Decision Making: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical and logistical issues on site, making timely and effective decisions.
