Required Experience

Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, with a strong focus on civil engineering infrastructure projects.

Demonstrable experience in managing projects across various civil disciplines, such as roads (earthworks, paving, storm water), water infrastructure (pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, treatment works), bulk earthworks, and structural concrete works.
Proven track record of successfully delivering medium to large-scale projects (e.g., R50M+) from inception through to handover.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.

Professional Registration (Pr.Eng / Pr.Tech.Eng with ECSA or Pr.CPM with SACPCMP) is highly advantageous and preferred.
Valid Driver's License.

Required Competencies

Project Management Acumen: Exceptional ability to plan, execute, monitor, and control complex civil engineering projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.

Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, materials science, and relevant industry standards (e.g., SANS, ASTM).
Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse project teams, including site personnel, subcontractors, and consultants.
Problem-Solving & Decision Making: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical and logistical issues on site, making timely and effective decisions.
