Job Description
Nature Connect is looking for a Graduate Content Creation Intern to support our communications team.
As our Media Communications Manager takes on more strategic responsibilities, we need someone to help consistently capture and share the important work happening across our programmes. This role is best suited to someone with a passion for nature, a good visual eye, and a willingness to grow within a supportive team.
- Stipend: R5, 000 R7, 000/month dependent on skillset
- Location: Tokai, Cape Town (Onsite)

- Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities
- Capture photos and short videos at events, fieldwork, and conservation camps
- Edit and package content for social media and internal use
- Assist with managing the content calendar and uploading content to platforms
- Write short, engaging captions aligned with our tone and messaging
- Help maintain our content asset library for easy access and use
- Support posting across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Hands-on experience in a purpose-driven conservation organisation
- A portfolio of real-world content
- Exposure to digital communications strategy and campaign planning
- Mentorship from experienced media and communications professionals

Minimum Requirements
- NQF Level 5 or higher qualification in Digital Marketing, Media Studies, Communications, Visual Communication, or a related field
- Access to a good quality mobile device capable of capturing clear photos and videos
- Access to laptop
- Drivers Licence
- Familiarity with Canva for basic editing
- Comfortable using platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok Basic content creation skills (smartphone photography /video) Strong written communication and time management skills
