Social Media Content Manager

My client are a full service consultancy with experience spanning commercial, industrial, residential and retail. Interior design & brand environment for the right professional with great energy, an adaptable perspective and the skillset to support. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. Manage the company image in a cohesive way to achieve the company marketing goals.
  • You are expected to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies & social media trends.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to express the company and brand views creatively.
Able to handle the social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic & customer engagement.

NB: You will be the central point of contact for all marketing content.

This role will enable you to think in terms of client workplace strategies that support and enhance the businesss unique workflow needs.

Be part of a creative environment based in -office, in Cape Town working with Directors in the business.

Some Of Your Key Responsibilities
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Work alongside graphic designer to design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Content manager will provide copy and brief to digital manager to design all content within the business
  • Manage all content flow within business- conduct interviews, compile job briefs and manage project shoots to streamline all content within business
  • Write up project summaries
  • Do research on key trends and topics and compile Blog posts for website
Requirements
  • Completed Marketing degree (ideally post grad too)
  • Proven experience as a social media manager 3+ years
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
