What You Will Be Doing
- Evaluate all new business opportunities that arise either through the internal FunxionO operational structures or new external opportunities
- Apply methodologies to reduce waste, improve quality, and streamline operations.
- Conduct time and motion studies as required
- Develop / review solutions around each new external and/or organic growth opportunity
- Construct / review proposals to each client solution
- Partner with the operations and sales teams to present client specific continuous improvement solutions
- Support Operations in building the necessary capabilities to effectively deliver each new business solution.
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager and Operations to establish and implement client-specific solutions.
- Ensure compliance when on boarding of new clients
- Review current clients to explore process improvement and/or efficiency opportunities
- Assist in setting up FXO infrastructure related to solutions (Back office and operational)
- Lead the creative design and development of new solutions.
- Lead initiatives aimed at process enhancements, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Design systems that can adapt to increasing production demands and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Support the identification and acquisition of new technologies to enhance future client solutions.
- Collaborate with Business Development Manager, Finance and Legal to ensure commercial viability of all solutions.
- Collaborate with H&S Manager to ensure all client solutions are compliant with all H&S regulatory standards
- Stay updated on industry advancements in relation to automation to recommend their application for our clients
- Maintain a healthy and collaborative relationship with all departments and working as an integral part of a dynamic team.
- Collaborate with Operational teams to develop and manage continuous improvement projects
- Maintain efficient and effective client solutions in line with cost reduction initiatives
Mandatory Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading projects and managing small teams
- Proven ability to lead projects utilising continuous improvement principles
- Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, and/or logistics environments is preferred
- Industrial Engineering and/or relevant qualification
