Contract Administrator

Our client is looking for a Contract Administrator to join their team.

Duties Include
  • Negotiating preliminary contracts with customers
  • Developing customer accounts and offer additional value-added services
  • Communicating sales or service opportunities and customer concerns or suggestions
  • Ensuring that RFQ forms are filled out correctly and submitted in an efficient manner
  • Managing group service accounts
  • Working with the technical team to ensure customer project requirements are met
  • Stayed abreast of product and service offerings
  • Communicating with suppliers and OEM's efficiently and timeously
  • Advising the Divisional Manager should there be any challenges with suppliers, relationships and accounts
  • Providing back office with the correct and relevant documentation to load new suppliers
  • Assisting Technical Service Agent Team Leader with day-to-day administrative duties including costings, quotes, close outs and capturing of job-related documentation
  • Managing and interpret customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
  • Identifying and resolve client concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future
  • Arranging logistics, importation, customs and clearing for imported products
  • Using the latest updated pricing model inputs Education, experience, and competencies required
Requirements
  • Grade 12 (minimum)
  • Relevant Sales/Marketing qualification advantageous
  • Three years' experience in a similar role
  • Logistics, importation, customs and clearing experience with regards to the supply of products from a foreign country
  • Experience in quoting and costing
  • Networking and communication abilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work in a highly pressurised environment
  • Experience on a CRM system will be advantageous
  • Well organized with an attention to exacting detail
  • A minimum requirement of Basic Excel Skills (Advantageous: Intermediate Excel Skills)
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, both written and oral
