Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Contracting Manager based in Cape Town. The Contracting Manager will be responsible for negotiating and managing supplier contracts, analyzing market trends, and maintaining strong relationships with service providers in Southern & East Africa. The role includes monitoring supplier performance, identifying opportunities for cost improvements, and ensuring competitive pricing. The Contracting Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams to align contracting strategies and support operational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive supplier relationships
- Experience in contract management, supplier performance evaluation, and cost optimization
- Analytical skills to assess market trends and pricing strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant contracting software
- Familiarity with the travel and tourism industry, particularly within Southern Africa, is highly advantageous
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, or a related field is preferred
