- Maintaining Standards related to safety & Quality and attend to and correct deviations
- Extracting & Submitting Productivity reports to immediate superior, providing reasons for deviations from targets or standards & courses of actions implemented to correct outcome.
- Investigating deviations in recorded & physical count of material, referring to production requirements, issues & returns and reconciling against stock balances.
- Attending to the storage of premixes, allocating specific locations & closing checking compliance with instructions.
- Documenting premix receipt & issues reconciling opening & closing stock figures.
- Overseeing the incorporation of the correct amount of premix into feeds produced at the balances feed & Supplementary feeds.
- Prepare identification labels for various additives and pre-mixes.
- Supervise/Lead the Premix Team
- Matric /Grade 12,
- Certificate in a related field i.e. Production or chemistry at an NQF level 5 acquired through an accredited Further education & Training Institution.
- A Diploma/ Advance Diploma in Chemistry/related studies will be an added advantage
- Must be fluent in English (Speak, read and write)
- Have 3 years experience in a Feed or Pharmaceutical Factory or Laboratory/Premix facility.
- Must have knowledge of SAP and experience with Microsoft Office packages with specific focus on Excel.
- Pay attention to detail and accuracy, effective communication skills and ability to work independently and be a team leader.
- Good communication skills (Spoken, Written)
- Must have a positive attitude.
