MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To coordinate the effective and efficient running of events according to prescribed legal standards and company procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
  • Coordinate running of events
  • Ensure all legal standards are adhered to
  • Build relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure all documentation per event is completed and submitted for billing and payment
  • Ensure all MHR staff are properly dressed and their behaviour is in line with ER24 values
  • Ensure all vehicles and equipment are maintained
  • Promote further learning amongst MHR staff
Required Education

Essential education: Grade 12 , ILS Certification

Desired education: Diploma/Certificate in events management

Required Experience

Essential minimum experience: Experience in events management/coordination

Desired experience: 2-3 years event management/coordination

Required Job Skills And Knowledge
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Safety At Sports Recreational Events Act/South African Rugby Union rules and regulations
  • ALS HPCSA protocols
  • Sales/marketing principles and practices
  • Basic life support/Intermediate Life Support HPCSA protocols
  • Financial management and budgeting principles
  • Customer relations management methodology and practices
