Key Performance Output
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Assistant Manager Revenue Control and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Conduct research to assist with the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Complete trend analysis utilising qualitative and quantitative data
- Conduct benchmark and impact studies on completed initiatives
- May be required to conduct functional feasibility studies
- Assist and sometimes manage functional projects
- Provide technical support to the Managers and Specialists
- Responsible for the execution and management of own functional portfolio
- Introduce cost saving initiatives in own functional portfolio
- Manage functional communications
- Assist with the development and management of functional budget
- Assist with general office management (for instance inventory management)
- May be required to assist Managers and Specialists with flight arrangements
- Give input into the SCM process for the sourcing of Contractors/Service Providers
- Facilitate Contractor activity on site in line with SLA
- Conduct inspections and audits of Contractor activity on site
- Monitor functional contracts to ensure effective planning for their renewal through SCM processes
- Assist with the drafting and scoping of SCM documents and templates and submit in accordance with DLAs
- May be required to participate in the Tender processes
- Log functional activity on the functional database and/or system
- Analyse data and draw reports from functional database and/or system to enable reporting of functional activities
- Ensure the resolution of system related queries and issues
- Ensure effective system resource levels
- Manage and ensure the data integrity of the functional system and/or database
- Respond to requests, queries and complaints through the relevant platforms
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and customers to enable high satisfaction levels
- Assist with the resolution of escalated requests, queries and complaints
- Escalate difficult requests, queries and complaints
- Maintain an effective network and timeous communication in area of influence
- Build, support and maintain healthy internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organizational goals. Implement remedial action when required.
- Manage storage and filing of functional documentation
- Compile and collate functional reports for submission to respective committees and forums
- Manage functional communication and reporting
- Execute and report of special functional projects
- Assist with variance and forecast reporting on budget
- Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures. Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
- Ensure all source documentation is confidentially maintained, securely stored and filed in accordance with Standard Operating procedures.
The following skills & experience is required or equivalent of such is required:
- Diploma/Degree (3 years) in relevant area is essential
- 2 - 3 years operational experience within relevant area is essential
- Code-B motor vehicle license
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office packages
