Mid Copywriter

  • A Little Bit About the Role:
Working alongside our alcohol brand client, the Copywriter creates powerful and impactful copy for long copy, straplines and headlines for all forms of digital content; web pages, email campaigns, social media, presentations, advertising, marketing and sales collateral. This is a dynamic fast paced client, where briefs often change as we strive to make our brands the most successful they can be.

Reporting to the Creative Director, the Copywriter sits within a team of 7 consisting of an art director, project manager, integrated designers and motions designer.

What You'll be Doing:
  • A passion for their craft we are looking for someone who loves what they do and brings it every day to the work they produce and how they collaborate with the team
  • Produce original copy for digital content
  • Brainstorm visual and copy ideas with other members of the team
  • Work closely with the team to deliver all copy to ensure consistency and accuracy across all messaging to the agreed briefs and established brand values
  • Follow and help build a tone of voice consistent to the client throughout all copy and proactively make recommendations for the direction of client projects
  • Undertake research and develop an understanding of the client's target audience and competitor products
  • Form close relationships with the product teams in order to source product information and unique selling points of products
  • Generate engaging, customer focused content to add value to the customer's experience
  • Use briefs to create original on-brand copy across a variety of channels to a high standard, sticking to tight deadlines
  • Ensure you are and remain brand immersed, as the nature of the client is dynamic and fast-paced in its development and evolution.
What You'll Need:
  • Be self-motivated, proactive and collaborative, with a can-do attitude for every ask, be it large or small. Every brief is a chance to impress our clients so we can get more and better opportunities to do great work.
  • Ability to create original, impactful and engaging work for digital campaigns
  • A record in creating immaculate copy for global audiences that stands out from the crowd
  • Ability to turn brilliant copy around in short timelines, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to plan and strategize high-profile projects
  • An excellent team player: collaborative and adept at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to write on-brand B2C creative copy that delivers a consistent tone of voice
  • The ability to work well under pressure and manage workloads and multiple projects effectively
  • Experience in FMCG sectors especially in alcoholic beverages a huge plus.
  • Experience working with multiple products.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in content writing
