- Drive Corporate Placement Strategy to compliment the Corporate Segments Client Strategy i.e. client retention and growth
- Maintain close relationship with the Corporate Segment Leader and his Management teams & CEs.
- Provide input, guidance and solutions on problematic placements.
- Take responsibility for the placement of all corporate accounts where income to the client is in excess of R100, 000-00.
- Take personal responsibility for the placement of certain strategic Corporate accounts.
- Represent the client on Property & Casualty Practice Leaders Forum and provide regular feedback to the Technical Leader to facilitate communication to the greater business, where necessary
- Build strong market relationships (including wholesale and reinsurance markets where relevant) to get most competitive terms for clients
- Member of the Corporate Segment MANCO
- Ensure renewal timelines are adopted in conjunction with Segment and Business Leaders
- Have extensive experience with London Market placements (Lloyds and Company Markets)
- Maintain regular/ formal engagements with Corporate Segment Leader
- Regular engagements with the National Head of Technical and the Portfolio Solutions Leader ensuring strategic alignment with the Segment Leader (making use of facilities where possible to support growth strategy)
- Minimum 8 years broking experience
- Proven track record in managing a team
- Technical knowledge of policy wordings, local market, London Market
- Ability to drive change in the business aligned to the Corporate Segment Leaders Strategy
- Ability to work cross-team
- Ability to execute strategy
