The Role
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the companys inventory and costing strategies are efficient, accurate, and aligned with their financial goals.
The Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily inventory operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and implement costing models for products, taking into account material, labour, and overhead costs.
- Analyse and maintain accurate inventory records, highlighting trends or discrepancies.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory and cost reports for senior management.
- Analyse variances between actuals and forecasts, providing insights into potential areas of improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the ERP system, ensuring its optimal performance and utilization.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CIMA or similar professional accreditation.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in cost and management accounting, with a focus on inventory management.
- Living in Centurion or surrounds.
- Stable track record
- Proven expertise in ERP system administration, with hands-on experience in at least one major ERP platform.
