Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
- Track cost performance and variances, and report findings to the project team and management.
- Assist in the preparation of cost reports, dashboards, and cash flow projections.
- Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and cost data for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain cost control systems and ensure all financial data is current and reliable.
- Support change management by tracking and recording cost impacts of variations.
- Collaborate with planning and procurement teams to align cost and schedule data.
- Provide input for financial audits, project reviews, and internal compliance checks.
- Identify cost trends and assist in developing corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Ensure cost control processes are followed in accordance with company and client standards.
National Diploma in Finance / Accounting / Commerce / Cost Management / Quantity Surveying
(NQF 6)
Related Experience
3-5 years in Finance / Cost Management / Cost Engineering / Project Accounting / Quantity Surveying
And Advantageous
- 1 years Nuclear Power Plant or similar
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
