Maintenance Artisan - Millwright

Our client in the FMCG sector based in Kirkwood is currently looking to employ a Maintenance Artisan - Millwright.

Requirements

Grade 12 / N3 and recognized trade tested certificate in the Millwright discipline.
At least 5 years' appropriate experience.
Computer literacy.
Driver's license.
Safety awareness.
Ability to take initiative.
Ability to self-manage.
Results oriented.
Maintain exemplary work standards.
Good interpersonal skills.
Contributing to team success.
Willingness to work shifts when required.

Responsibilities And Expectations But Not Limited To

Ensure adherence to health and safety, environment, quality, and housekeeping.
Execute planned and preventative maintenance in accordance with the operations schedule.
Breakdown work and fault finding [Electrical, Mechanical and PLC's.]
Candidate will be expected to have the ability to plan his/her work and work under pressure.
Apply fault-finding techniques, and repair equipment defects.
Clean, maintain and repair mechanical parts, components and equipment as directed by the foremen.
Conduct regular plant inspections.
Carry out workshop fabrication, equipment assembly and installation.
Attain and maintain relevant licenses and authorizations required to execute allocated duties e.g. [Email Address Removed] in full compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Able to complete job cards.
