The Credit Analyst oversees our credit-granting process and requires a combination of analytical and numerical skills, as well as the ability to routinely communicate with and interact with clients.

Tasks

Duties And Responsibilities Your Role

• Validate client and supporting information by assessing the contents of the documents.
• Analyse credit applications by assessing the serviceability of the funding applied for.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations by operating within the specified parameters and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Enhance processes, policies and procedures by recommending and making submissions to the relevant parties.
• Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values.
• Conduct Credit Risk Assessment
• Analyse Financial Data
• Statutory, regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Industry, credit assessment & market knowledge for SMMEs.
• Analysing situations or data that requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
• Interacting with various levels of management

• A Commerce or Legal Degree is essential
• Must have worked in a credit department of a bank or financial services company assessing credit risk for at least 2 years
• Must be highly analytical and tech-savvy
