This role suits a candidate with at least 5 years’ experience in Creditors role. Pastel experience
essential.
Key duties includes:
- Managing full function of accounts payable (creditors)
- Reconciliation
- Processing of supplier invoices for foreign and local purchases
- Analysis in variances
- Following up on credit notes
- Settlement discounts
- Opening of new accounts
- Posting of Cash Book
- Invoicing & daily accounts management
- Filing of invoices
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent time management skills working efficiently, in a fast-paced environment and to deadlines.
- Team player and must be able to work independently
- Computer Literate
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- On the spot decision making, problem solving and analytical thinking
- Matric
- Qualification in finance/accounting will serve as an advantage.
