Customer service agent needed

Our customer service agents are focused on building strong relationships by going above and beyond to nurture and support our customers through the purchase process for a seamless ticketing experience.

Job responsibilities:

  • Professionally handle incoming calls and emails from customers and ensure that issues are resolved timeously and efficiently.
  • Direct calls and emails, including requests and unresolved issues, to the relevant department or resource when needs be.
  • Manage EFT and cash deposit payments for online orders ensuring booking confirmations, extension requests, supplier form requests and payment queries are tended to in a timely manner.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer experience.
  • Capture notes in the CRM system to provide customers with a more personalised experience.
  • Continuously find ways to improve the customer experience.
  • Own customer queries from start to finish - go above and beyond to make our customers day!
  • Meet agreed goals and capacity targets.
  • Handle general office administration.

Job requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree preferred, preferably in communications, psychology or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Computer literate
  • Organised with a can-do attitude
  • Strong work ethic and target driven
  • A minimum of one-year experience in a client relationship or similar role
  • Must believe in the role of customer service and the impact on organisational success
  • Past actions/achievements demonstrate a customer service orientation
  • Experience in technical support
  • Google apps such as Gmail and Google Docs
  • Work with payment gateways
  • Working five hours on Saturdays is a bonus
  • Patience and conversational friendliness with all customers
  • Strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
