Customer Services Agent (Via Afrika)

Vacancy: Customer Services Agent

Via Afrika, a well-established developer of educational content and training materials is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as Customer Services Agent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all Via Afrika product to answer customer questions effectively
  • Provide prompt and accurate assistance to all customers inquiries
  • Provide customers with accurate quotations within agreed timelines
  • Process all orders received within agreed timelines
  • Resolve customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers through various channels whilst maintaining a positive attitude
  • Assist customers with technical issues related to online orders, payment processing and website navigation
  • Provide customers with updates on the status of their orders with estimated delivery times
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, in queries and resolutions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and timely delivery
  • Identify opportunities within scope of work to promote additional product and services to customers
  • Gather feedback from customers to improve the companys services
  • Handle complaints with professionalism and empathy, aiming to resolve issues to the customers satisfaction
Minimum Qualifications And Experience
  • Relevant Post Matric qualification
  • Unendorsed Code 08/B driving licence
  • At least four years experience working in a similar role
  • Computer skills (a proficiency test will be conducted):
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word; Excel Formulas, filtering, VLOOKUP)
  • Good knowledge of Bookmaster modules will be advantageous.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience working in OneDrive, Google Drive and using WeTransfer.
  • Experience working in Papertrail will be advantageous.

  • Proficiency in numerous South African languages will be advantageous with fluency in English

The position is a permanent, office-bound position and is based in Cape Town.
