Underground mining

I am a 45 year old Boilermaker looking for work in mining sector. I got 10 years underground experience and 6 years surface plant experience as a section 13 Boilermaker. I got 4 years experience as a factory manager at G.L.Coatings. I work very good in a team as as an individual.

To practice my career as an Engineer Surveyor with special emphasis in Mining (Open cast & Underground) and Construction Industry, Designing Roads, Bridges, Buildings and Tunneling (Geometric Design). To abide with the Acts, Rules and Regulations of the Surveying Profession as set out in Act 40 of 1984 (PLATO).

I have been involved with the drilling of blast holes for Sandvik Mining, had to do trouble shooting for the customer to get the meters we were tasked. I have been a technical sales and support representative for them helping the customers with choice and best practices to go about their drilling on the benches. i was involved in some underground drilling at Argenys helping the customer there. I have done some materials handling with Sandvik and Tenova, i was involved with the training of the drillers to teach them basics on drilling on the different machines. I have been on site technical back up for Drilling Project services doing field testing at various mines. I have worked in the drilling and blasting industry on different mines for the past 14 years. I am a hands - on person, problem solving for customers within the industry. In my line of work, I have been exposed to Iron Ore, Manganese, Diamonds, Uranium, Zink, Copper and Coal mines all over the South African and neighboring states. I am familiar with all different machines that are in the market at present drilling holes on the different open cast mines. You will note in my work history attached, I assist customers to get the best performance out of their tooling and best cost per meter drilled. I have travelled to Botswana and Namibia for testing of products. I believe that I have an excellent work ethic and extremely involved with all tasks at any given time, I am able to travel no problem.

Shiftboss/miner, experience in coal mining for the past 20+yeari, lead, organize, accountability, cost saving, safety, production, meeting targets, Cm production sections, belt extension, pumping of water, blasting dykes underground, , weekly inspection and monthly inspection of old workings, enforcement of standards

Shift Boss I have 25 years experience in underground coal mining at Khutala Colliery. I am currently employed as a shift boss and is a conveyor belt expert. I have successfully completed over 2000 belt extensions and 450 new belt installations and have obtained countless Coal King records. I have a very energetic and enthusiastic personality and am highly motivated and committed. I am in excellent physical condition as I actively work with my crew. I have excellent communication skills and work closely with my belt crew to achieve maximum work effort. I lead my team to record time belt extensions and doing the impossible. My knowledge and experience is invaluable and my specialty is to work on innovative solutions to any problem. I did obtain my Blasting Certificate in 2008.

I was a retail assistant and backgriller in one restaurant Frenchies in south Africa and underground stope timber in the mining industry Wich was a learnaship. So I would appreciate if get a job in the retail sector, as a shop assistant.
