I'm a self-disciplined and self-motivated Supply Planning Manager, with 14 years working experience within the supply chain industry capable to address Imports, Exports related matters supported by on hand 5 years’ experience in customs clearing and forwarding complemented by international customs affairs qualification. Distribution planning was once his expertise when he was employed by Brandhouse to procure Amstel & Heineken into RSA during the repartition process from SAB Miller in 2007. Once the Heineken Brewery was built in RSA, Golden was involved in supply change over management as a Senior Distribution Planner, handling promotion changeovers, complex supply and distribution challenges.
He has successfully completed APICS program Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) as a result exposed to brewery logistics and planning opportunities, which lead to improving stock accuracy, migration from XL MRP to SAP MRP, Created SOP’s to ensure sustainability of process and new ideas. He thereafter completed the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
Golden has been exposed to the ins and outs of the production life cycle. Comprehending the Supply chain operation reference (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver and Return) at its best, he possesses the ability to ensure on-time delivery of products by coordinating the activities of different departments toward a common goal, time management for timely delivery of critical goals. He also possesses the capability to review available information and allocate resources to maximize the efficiency of manufacturing operations including inventory and warehouse management processes.
