With more than three decades of expertise gained in the Electrical and Instrument Construction field across South Africa, the Continent and Middle East, Josef Johannes Badenhorst is a qualified, practical career professional, with experience in commissioning and start-up, team leadership and supervision, and project leadership of mega-projects and subcontracted installations in diverse territories and cultures.
JJ retains hands-on knowledge of Quality Control, Costing, Bill of Materials, Material Control and Verification, as well as in Project Management, Safety Inspections, Construction and Maintenance across the Mining, Infrastructure and Retail Service industries.
His skills feature extensive involvement in the building of substations, installation of panels, drives, motors, cables, safety and warning devices. JJ has, over the course of 30 years, led the electrical installation of conveyor belts, PLC's and small power layouts, as well as solar systems, industrial borehole pumps, water tanks and Municipal water distributing systems.
Broadly skilled and proficient, JJ has directed ancillary services that include street light installations, the construction of small power lines, trenching, concrete work, painting and even ceiling fitting, as well as transport management and control.
