What job i'm looking for? My positive points
I would like part time mechanical engineering jobs or teaching technical subjects. Contract basis preferred. I would like to work from home but can travel on the West Rand, Gauteng.
I have 50 years experience, mainly with the Howden Group in SA including fan design, system design, flow measurement and fan performance testing. Have experience in energy engineering, composite design and production. Design of cooling fans (up to 10m in diameter).
Recent projects include design and supply of automated test rigs for heavy mining fans and compressor, writing the software for these test rigs (VBA), including report generation and test control. Written software programs for fan selection and performance curve plotting. Strong air flow, fan design background. Air flow measurement and testing. Mechanics and mechanical design. I enjoy VBA script writing.
Am currently tutoring an adult in pre-calculus mathematics. I believe my wide practical experience would make me suitable for teaching technical subjects and school mathematics.
