Motivation letter for Piet vd Walt

Mr Piet vd Walt was an employee for ash resources for 18 years, due to operational requirement was retrenched in September 2018. He was a reliable employee and worked on our PE depot and reported to me, his roles was supervising the PE depot, maintenance on the depot equipment and driving of a forklift.

I didn’t have any disciplinary issues with Mr vd Walt, always punctual, managed the truck loading, paperwork always in order and safety was considered a priority. Due to him being flexible in his role to take on initiative and alert on major repairs required on the site and minor repairs was done by himself. Always looked well after the equipment and cleaning of the equipment, a good standard of housekeeping was always maintained.
