The Compliance Officer will ensure that Danone South Africa operates in full compliance with all national and international laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. This role is critical in safeguarding the company's integrity and reputation by managing compliance and legal risks and promoting a culture of ethical business practices.
About You
Qualification(s)
- Bachelors degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role, preferably within the dairy or food industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Experience in conducting compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Skills and Competencies
- Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using compliance management software and tools.
