About The Role
A leading bank in Sandton is seeking a Mid to Senior Data Analyst with strong systems integration expertise to support a critical Global Markets project. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience in financial services data, integration projects, and testing API's in a modern development environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define source-to-target data field relationships and complete data mapping for the project scope.
- Establish and document data standards and transformation rules for the datasets in scope.
- Collect and analyse data to support test case development.
- Contribute to the data architecture framework of the bank.
- Own the test plan and test cases; collaborate with SMEs to drive system integration testing and UAT.
- Proven experience in systems integration projects with referenceable success, including working with vendor-provided APIs.
- Hands-on expertise using Postman for API testing in a CI/CD pipeline.
- Solid financial services experience; exposure to global and investment banking is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
