nDuties & Responsibilitie
- sAnalyse and interpret data stored in Oracle databases to provide insights for decision-making and business process improvement
- .Design and develop complex SQL and PL/SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data efficiently
- .Create reports, dashboards, and visualisations using tools such as Oracle BI and Power BI
- .Perform data profiling to understand data structures, relationships, and patterns
- .Conduct data cleansing and quality assessments to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- .Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- .Develop and maintain documentation for queries, reports, dashboards, and data processes
- .Optimise SQL queries for performance improvements in large datasets
- .Work closely with database administrators to ensure database integrity, security, and availability
- .Support ad-hoc data analysis requests and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- .Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy regulations, and organisational standards
- .Participate in testing and validation of new data sources, processes, and reports
sMinimum Qualification
- s3-year National Diploma (NQF 6) or higher in an ICT-related field (e.g., Computer Science or Information Technology)
- .Oracle certification is an added advantage
- sAdvanced SQL and PL/SQL development skills
- .Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- .Experience with Oracle Database technologies and data analysis tools
- .Proficiency in Oracle BI, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms
- .Knowledge of data profiling, cleansing, and quality assurance practices
- .Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
