- Assess business needs and align operational plans with business objectives.
- Develop and implement business intelligence security strategies and operational plans.

Minimum requirements
- Minimum Required: Diploma in Information Studies, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Preferred: Degree in the above fields.
- 10 years of experience in the IT environment, with 2 years or more in a senior technical lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Data Governance and Analysis, Intelligence/Data Analytics principles, tools, and best practices.
- Working knowledge of programming and statistical computer languages (Python, SQL, R etc.) and cutting-edge data quality management solutions.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements such as Data Privacy and Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Strong knowledge of Data Architecture approaches to Data Warehousing eg. Kimbal, DataLake, Lakehouse, Data Bricks etc
- Competent with approaches, platforms for big data use cases in the cloud.
- Competent with DevOps practices in Data development (MLOps advantageous).
