- Administration and Reporting
- Ensure the Security Policy, Code of Conduct, Security Procedures, Standards and Security Rules is understood and adhered to.
- Handles general enquiries
- Identifies gaps in the data sets and implements the data gathering plan in filling the data gaps.
- Ensures that data is maintained and updated on a daily basis and retrieves stored information using relevant supporting software and related equipment.
- Develops and establishes data retrieval procedures and maps data between source systems and data warehouses.
- Compiles data from a variety of sources including crime information and crime intelligence, satellite imagery, aerial photographs, and maps.
- Analyses the criminal practices influencing the Group by applying sound analytical techniques, mapping the outcomes, developing a hypothesis and inference for submission to management. Page 2 of 5
- Designs and updates databases, applying additional knowledge of specific feature representations.
- Operates and maintains system hardware, software, moves, copies, deletes, and adds files, to output reports in hard copy or electronic transfer.
- Performs weekly reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
- Ensures that captured data is correct by conducting basic statistical checks on collated data.
- Reports anomalies to Supervisor for corrective action.
- Prepares the daily, weekly, monthly crime reports

- Testify on evidence in hearings.
- Briefing of replacement on commencement of shift change.
