Accountabilities & Responsibility Areas1. Strategic Insight Generation
  • Own and lead delivery of cross-departmental analytics projects that inform executive decisions, from operational optimisation to financial forecasting.

  • Proactively identify high-leverage data opportunities and build reporting ecosystems that enable teams to act with confidence and speed.

  • Translate business objectives into data initiatives, ensuring outputs are actionable, relevant, and value-driven.
2. Data Architecture & Reporting Frameworks
  • Design and maintain scalable, maintainable reporting systems (dashboards, automated reports, models) that support users from front-line teams to executives.

  • Establish consistent definitions and KPIs across business units to enable Group-wide alignment.

  • Act as the product owner for the analytics stackprioritising developments, driving adoption, and evolving tooling as business needs grow.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as the go-to analytics partner for Planning, Ops, Finance, Tech, and Executive leadership, with a mandate to unify and elevate the Groups data maturity.

  • Lead cross-team analytics initiativese.g. performance benchmarking, forecasting tools, pricing or capacity planning modelsthat require deep collaboration and influence
4. Coaching, Standards, and Governance
  • Mentor and upskill analysts and data consumers across departments; set best practices for analytical work, from SQL/query design to dashboarding.

  • Maintain documentation and data governance standards to ensure reliability and repeatability in analytics outputs.
5. Special Projects and Innovation
  • Lead special forces analytics effortstime-sensitive, complex projects where precision, innovation, and cross-functional alignment are key.

  • Champion the use of new tools and methodologies (e.g. predictive modelling, scenario simulation, automation) to advance analytics capability
