MSSQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance of an organization's MSSQL databases. The DBA will work with the development and IT teams to ensure the database systems are stable and secure, and that they meet the organization's data storage and reporting needs. The IT Enterprise team will depend on you to provide guidance, build process and drive the maturity of IDM ITs database management capabilities.

- Installing, configuring, and maintaining MSSQL Server databases on-prem; hosted and Azure
- Monitoring and optimizing database performance
- Developing and implementing backup and recovery procedures
- Ensuring data integrity and security
- Developing and maintaining database documentation
- Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues
- Managing user access and permissions
- Continuously monitoring and updating system to ensure compliance with security standards
- Participating in the design and development of new database systems
- Collaborating with the development team to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
- Develop and build DBA policy/process to streamline data management, integrity and security
- Engage with key stakeholders, external 3rd parties and technical resource
- Strong experience with MSSQL and some PostgreSQL advantageous
- 3+ years experience with database administration and management
- Strong understanding of database design, security, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with database backup and recovery
- Experience with data modeling and SQL scripting
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Certifications in MSSQL Server advantageous
- Proven track record of working with complexity in a pragmatic manner
