Job Purpose
To manage a portfolio of investment banking transactions, as Facility Agent, from implementation through to termination and to ensure that the defined transactional requirements reflected in the legal agreements are implemented and adhered to.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide a professional service to stakeholders by ensuring that multi-currency transactions are managed and accounted for in accordance with legal agreements, relevant legislation and that deal activities are executed by following agreed business process
- Build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders through consistent and timeous communication, adherence to requirements (systems and procedures) and evidencing an understanding of transactions, processes & systems
- Coordinate lender groups and facilitate meetings and requests from both Lenders and Borrowers.
- Provide support to Lenders and Borrowers by addressing all queries timeously
- Ensure that transactions are accurately loaded and maintained on support systems and that deal related activities are accurately executed
- Manage shared team mailboxes
- Adhere to internal processes when managing deals and executing transaction activities (e.g. cashflows, repayment and rate notices, document lodging)
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Relevant Bachelor of Commerce Degree
Minimum Experience Level
At least 2 years Investment Banking experience, preferably in the Middle Office. Relevant product exposure and exposure to Loan IQ will be advantageous.
