Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a custodian of the enterprise-scale application landscape strategy.
- Apply architectural guidelines and principles to technical solutions.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient application architectures.
- Ensure integration of applications with existing systems for seamless interoperability.
- Participate in quality assurance and design authority activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks and technical impacts on projects.
- Understand end-to-end business processes, identifying gaps in applications and hybrid cloud-hosted environments.
- Establish and mature an Enterprise Application Portfolio Management capability.
- Provide input for system change impact assessments.
- Ensure governance and compliance for application deployment.
- Support IT and Project Change Management teams in Change Management activities.
- Ensure alignment with PMO project delivery requirements and stage gate checks.
- IT Diploma or Degree.
- Enterprise Architecture Certification (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Application and Integration Architecture.
- Minimum 10 years experience in project/programme management.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale application solutions.
- Hands-on experience in software development, system integration, and API management.
- Expertise in cloud-native application development and deployment.
- Strong project planning, estimation, design, and implementation skills.
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools such as iServer and Flexera (APM).
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including senior management, business units, suppliers, and IT teams.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to African countries.
