Job Description
Developing specialists in internal risk management to Deloitte Africa Audit & Assurance. This role assists the Risk Management team in administrative and execution activities related to the Risk Management strategy, including conducting basic risk analysis of the areas and processes within Risk Management, the business portfolio as well as emerging risks. The role will also encompass monitoring of risk areas in the Audit & Assurance business, reporting to risk owners and providing insights.
Responsible for:
- Supporting the proactive identification of risks to the Deloitte Africa Audit and Assurance portfolio. Working together with and/or leveraging the Audit Risk Sensing team and specialists and other resources (where required)
- Conducting risk analyses for the purpose of risk management including portfolio risk management
- Performing monitoring of risk areas in the Audit & Assurance business
- Risk management reporting
- Researching and analyses to support risk management processes including consultations
- B.Com Finance and Investment Management / Economics / Risk Management
- Honours Degree desired.
- 1 years working experience in a role with exposure to risk management, due diligence, Analyst
- Experience delivering on broad research projects, topics for dissemination in business and leadership
- Experience in performing analyses related to risk management, including identifying risks, trends and insights from data including internal business related data and data available in the market
