Demand Planner

Job Description

Are you interested in a Demand Planning role supporting the LEGO Group with its forecasting and the running of the S&OP process?

Bring your knowledge of understanding the market commercially and demand planning itself to work as a trusted partner to the Operational and Commercial Teams!


Core Responsibilities

• Participate in the various Demand Planning review meetings with Marketing and Customer Development/Sales teams
• Ensure forecasting assumptions are clearly understood, implemented in plans and tracked
• Build upon statistical forecast output to deliver an accurate demand plan on an item level
• Support accurate forecast creation for both Consumer Sales and Shipments to Customers
• Ensure demand plans accurately reflect known marketing, product launch timings and promotional activities - both LEGO and customer-funded
• Support the Demand Planning Manager in delivering the material for a successful Demand Review.

Do you have what it takes?

• Experience working within a consumer goods environment
• An ability to master complexity
• Be able to communicate in a way that makes the complex simple
• Be able to assimilate multiple data inputs and determine the most likely outcome
• Collaborate across functions to ensure
• Strong analytical skills and experience of working in Excel
• Knowledge of Demand Planning and Statistical Forecasting is desirable

This role is part of our LEGO Middle East and Africa BU in the Operations team. The team has responsibility for the Order to Cash process, Demand Planning and Data management.

The output of your efforts will also be used directly by supply chain teams to ensure the right products are manufactured at the time to maximise 'In Stock Availability' whilst avoiding the generation of waste.
