Design Coordinator / Design Manager - High-Rise Residential

South East London

Competitive Salary, Dependent On Experience

A well-funded, design-led residential developer is looking to appoint a Design Coordinator or Design Manager to work on a major high-rise residential scheme of 500+ units in South East London.

This is a site-based role, working closely with the delivery team on a complex, large-scale residential project. The business is seeking someone who is confident managing their own workload and can be trusted to take ownership without the need for micromanagement.

The Role

• Managing and coordinating the design process on a large high-rise residential scheme
• Taking responsibility for packages from early stages through delivery
• Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure design information is issued correctly and on time
• Identifying and resolving design issues proactively to support site progress
• Working closely with the wider project and construction team to ensure buildability and programme alignment

Requirements

• Proven experience working on high-rise residential projects is essential
• Comfortable managing own projects and working independently
• Strong technical understanding and confidence coordinating multiple design packages
• Able to work in a fast-paced site environment
• Site based role - must be able to work from site full time

We are open to speaking with Design Coordinator or Design Managers

• Design Coordinator: Support will be provided by a Senior Design Manager, however you will be expected to step up quickly and take on increased responsibility
• Design Manager: Must be capable of running design elements independently with minimal oversight
