This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week on-site at our Johannesburg office.
Key Responsibilities , ( ):
- Maintaining and advancing your expert-level knowledge of Sage X3 (both technical and functional).
- Creating and leading knowledge-sharing initiatives such as technical documentation and webinars.
- Developing a deep understanding of customer needs to deliver tailored support and solutions.
- Managing and processing X3 source code requests via JIRA.
- Leading on-site and remote "site rescues" to resolve critical issues.
- Providing exceptional customer service with a strong focus on results and resolution.
Your first three months will focus on onboarding, learning, and integrating:
- Complete the Sage onboarding program in collaboration with your manager and team.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of internal processes, systems, and customer needs.
- Show initiative, seek and provide feedback, and demonstrate your drive for excellence.
Youll report to the Services Team Manager and collaborate with a team of experienced Product Specialists. The team operates under the direction of the Operations Manager, fostering a supportive and performance-driven environment.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Certified in Sage X3 Development.
- Strong knowledge of Sage X3 4GL and TypeScript (especially for mobile automation).
- Proficient in MSSQL.
- At least 3 years of experience working with Sage X3.
