Digital Campaign Analyst

ROLE SUMMARY:

The core focus of the Digital Campaign Analyst is to ensure campaign reporting is of the highest quality which includes strategic insights in order to ensure we deliver a favourable client experience throughout our clients interaction from proposal up until the end of campaigns. This includes ensuring clients expectations with regards to campaign KPIs are met, thereby encouraging further upselling. Along with reporting, the Digital Campaign Analyst will create and maintain benchmarking documentation across all owned platforms in order to assist campaign managers with the optimization of campaigns, as well as assist Marketing Strategists with the optimal choice of campaign elements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. CAMPAIGN REPORTING
Collect & curate large amounts of data points into concise insightful reports to be sent to all relevant stakeholders.
Synthesize findings into insights and thoughtful recommendations as well as recommendations sent to campaign managers for optimization purposes.
Feedback to the Sales Team & Channel Managers on frequently occurring performance issues & any suggested platform improvements to product owners or Campaign Managers where relevant.
Developing and maintaining custom reporting dashboards for use in sales pitches as well as to support the monitoring of commercial & marketing campaigns.
Continually search for new, innovative and engaging technologies or ways of displaying information (whether it be for reporting/proposals/ad hoc as needed), e.g. dashboarding tech, infographics, etc.

2. CAMPAIGN OPTIMISATION & PERFORMANCE
Help define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), benchmarks and goals for campaigns per platform.
Measure KPIs throughout campaign duration and recommend optimization tactics on how to meet and exceed these.
Pull campaign delivery figures and statistics directly from the ad serving platforms where necessary.
Create and maintain best practice documents for the relevant channels.

3. ADMIN
Maintaining, updating and managing the Monday.com campaign boards as far as needed within role.
Ensuring all reports are adequately filed on the Google Drive in all relevant formats (eg PPT, PDF, Google Sheet & Google slides).
All GDS report links to be documented on a shared drive.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Tertiary education, postgrad an advantage.
Minimum of 3 years of marketing analysis and reporting experience.
Site analytics and reporting experience highly preferred - in particular Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads Manager, newsletter CMS, Google Data Studio/Looker.
Exceptional expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint, Google Slides & Excel, Google Sheets).
Demonstrated balance of analytical and presentation/storytelling skills.
