The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing glu's digital marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, user engagement, and business growth. Reporting to the Chief Marketing & PR Officer, this role oversees all digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, content creation, social media, email marketing, and paid media campaigns.
The position requires a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in optimizing digital channels, analyzing performance metrics, and leveraging data insights to refine campaigns. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and staying ahead of digital trends, the Digital Marketing Manager ensures cohesive, impactful, and results-driven digital marketing efforts that align with glus overall business objectives.

Experience
- Minimum of 4 years management experience in the Marketing Field
- Minimum of 6 years experience in the Digital Marketing field (managing websites, PPC, SEO, social media UI & UX and the implementation of new Technology)
- Retail Insurance experience
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practice, with demonstrated success in rolling out digital marketing campaigns

Strategic Management
- Develop and implement a Digital Marketing strategy aligned to the Business and Marketing Strategies
- Ownership and day-to-day management of the company website and digital marketing platforms, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date and functionality is working as expected
- Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns for the various glu business areas
- Conceptualising and implementing content marketing strategies to drive online traffic across the various stages of the marketing funnel, while tracking conversion rates across various campaigns
- Utilising a range of techniques, including Search engine optimisation (SEO), Pay Per Click Advertising (PPC) and Social Media Marketing (SMM)
- Proficient in working with digital and social media SaaS tools that including but not limited to HubSpot, Brandwatch, HotJar, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Marketing Platform
- Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of websites and other digital user journeys
- Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data to inform digital marketing strategy and activities
- Align marketing campaign activities with digital marketing activities
- Detailed reporting and management information for the business
- Ensure effectgive brand omni-channel presence and customer experience
- Develop and manage the Digital Marketing Strategy for the InsureTech and Direct Sales strategy
- Effective collaboration with IT on user journeys and platform development i.e. Apps
- Work with Brand and Communications manager on the customer relationship management strategy. Plus own the management of the platform
- Introduce new digital engagement channels leveraging Bot technology and AI
- Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing by channel
- Contributes to the setting of budgets, minimizes expenditure and manages costs and assets effectively
- Develops, implements and monitors a cycle of medium -term cost improvements for area of accountability.
- Optimizes marketing spend across all digital channels
- Review new technologies working with internal and external stakeholders, keeping the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
