- A relevant Masters degree.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in higher education, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in navigating the South African higher education policy landscape.
- Proven experience in leading and facilitating academic planning and quality assurance initiatives within a higher education context.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the quality assurance frameworks and standards governing higher education.
- Established history of driving successful academic programme reviews, accreditations and continuous improvement initiatives.
