The International Hotel School Distance (online) Campus is looking for a Hospitality Management Lecturer to join our academic team.

The purpose of the role is to facilitate, offer student support and share your passion for the hospitality industry with students. The application of sound assessment principles and meeting higher education standards.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• A Masters (NQF Level 9) or Honors (NQF 8) hospitality qualification essential
• Initial bachelors degree (NQF Level 7) Qualification needs to be in Hospitality
• A Minimum of 5 years relevant, l industry experience
• A minimum of 2 years lecturing / teaching experience within higher education
• Online facilitation experience beneficial
• Proficient in Learning Management Systems and MS Office computer software
• CATHSSETA scoping beneficial
• Certified as an Assessor
• Vocational, POE and practical assessment experience
• Curriculum and assessment knowledge

Essential Skills

• Experience in providing student support
• Experiences facilitator
• Knowledge of academic compliance within the higher educational sector
• Proficient in computer software, apps, social media, and technology in general
