Our client, a manufacturing company that supplies to a large & diverse customer base, is looking for a Divisional Engineer to join their innovative team in Durban.
Requirements:
- BTech / BSc in Industrial / Chemical Engineering
- 2 years' experience in the manufacturing field
- Provide technical support to all branches
- Special focus required on continuous improvement in production output & plant efficiencies & reporting thereof
- Assist with safety, health, quality, & environmental compliance
- Implementation & reporting of KPI's & production efficiencies to the executive prior to the monthly management review
- Digitalization of daily production KPI's providing real time data to assist management with the daily running of operations
- Lead any new CAPEX projects & project managing thereof
- Assist management with new product development & innovation
- Attend monthly OPS meetings with focus on the factory KPI's & Projects
- Run & manage projects to continue the reduction of the company's Carbon footprint
- Working with branch managers & group maintenance manager, to create critical spares list for each factory & making sure the spares are always ordered & in stock
- Review & audit maintenance schedules
