- Being accountable for Company vehicle.
- The successful candidate must ensure that the vehicle is hygienic and contamination-free.
- Servicing all routes designated to the vehicle.
- Basic administration duties.
- Maintaining the vehicle in the condition specified in the Astral policy manual.
- Maintaining and adhering to the 20 key principles including the Health & Safety of the department.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Recommended 3-5 years experience in horse and inter-link trailer driving.
- EC drivers license with PDP is a strict requirement.
- Mechanical Experience and Mechanical parts knowledge.
- Ability to make decisions.
- Must have knowledge of all areas in Gauteng and Mpumalanga.
- Ability to communicate and liaise at all levels.
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Must be a team player and have the ability to work in a diverse working environment.
- Must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Must be fluent in English and a second official language.
- Must be willing to work Shifts.
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
- Excellent customer relations skills, a high level of personal and professional integrity and clean bill of health are key requirements.
