Graduate Rotational Program – Impact Investing and Venture Capital

Edge Growth Ventures is a leading impact investing fund management firm based in South Africa, dedicated to driving positive change through strategic investments. We are thrilled to announce our Graduate Program, designed to nurture and develop the next generation of finance professionals in the exciting fields of Impact Investing, Fund Management, and Financial Services.

We are seeking highly motivated finance or accounting graduates who are in their final year or have recently completed their degree. This 12-month rotational program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across key business areas, including Finance, Operations, Investor Relations, Portfolio Management, and Deal Origination.

Key Activities: (Rotation through Business Units)
Finance

• Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and audit processes. Gain exposure to treasury management and risk assessment.
  

Operations & Investor Relations

• Support operational functions, regulatory compliance, and investor engagement. Prepare materials for board meetings.
  

Portfolio Management

• Monitor and evaluate existing investments, identify optimization opportunities, and collaborate with SMEs.
  

Deal Origination

• Participate in deal sourcing, conduct market research, and engage with entrepreneurs regarding their funding needs.
  

Research and Analysis

• Conduct in-depth analyses of financial instruments and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
  

Report Generation

• Create comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  

Collaboration

• Work with cross-functional teams and senior professionals on strategic projects.
  

Professional Development

• Participate in workshops, seminars, and mentorship sessions for continuous learning.
  

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fields.
  
• Demonstrated academic excellence and strong analytical skills.
  
• Proactive self-starters passionate about creating impact through finance and investment.
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); training on in-house systems will be provided.
