Responsibilities

Electrical Duties

• Execute daily electrical maintenance, including PM scheduling to ensure all equipment operates optimally.
• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions.
• Ensure compliance with SANS0142 standards for all electrical work.
• Devise and implement electrical maintenance plans.
• Conduct legal inspections and maintain the SHE system.
• Maintain all electrical drawings.

Millwright Duties

• Install, align, and dismantle heavy industrial machinery and equipment.
• Inspect and maintain mechanical systems such as pumps, conveyors, bearings, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on mechanical breakdowns.
• Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, and balance of machinery to minimize wear and tear.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Comply with the Mine Health and Safety Act.

RequirementsQualifications And Experience

• Educational Qualification:
• Electrical qualification with a minimum of N3.
• Valid Wiremans License.

Experience

• 3 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Other Requirements

• Must be medically fit as per the Mine Health and Safety Act and company medical fitness standards.
• Strong understanding of the mining environment and its legal requirements.
• Computer literacy.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective planning and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Capability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
