SUMMARY:

Assist in developing IoT-enabled embedded systems for collision avoidance and real-time safety solutions in mining and automotive sectors.

POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a Junior Embedded Systems & IoT Engineer to join our clients' engineering team. The successful candidate will work on projects involving RF communication, LTE-based data transmission, server integration, and real-time telemetry systems. You will assist in building reliable hardware-software communication layers, data pipelines, and dashboard integrations for our global deployments.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience with embedded systems, IoT devices, and microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of UPS wiring, solar panel integration, inverters, and control systems.
• Basic understanding of MQTT protocol and experience with data transmission to servers.
• Familiarity with Lua tools, Arduino programming, or similar.
• Strong foundation in AI/ML concepts (bonus for experience with object detection and computer vision).
• Eagerness to learn AWS server setup, cloud hosting, and secure communication protocols.
• Assist with integration of modular collision avoidance systems on mining and automotive equipment.
• Develop and maintain embedded systems for RF communication using ISM bands (868 MHz/915 MHz) and UWB RTLS technology.
• Configure and optimize data transmission protocols (MQTT, LTE, Wi-Fi) between IoT devices and online servers.
• Support cloud infrastructure and OTA (Over-the-Air) firmware update solutions using secure protocols.
• Contribute to data analytics and dashboard design for converting raw telematics data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with third-party providers to ensure cybersecurity compliance and penetration test readiness.
• Participate in field testing and calibration of systems in mining environments.
